Since 2014 there have been a total of 2,747 proposals submitted and 801 projects funded under EUREKA Eurostars. That means that nearly a third of all proposals have received funding; a much higher success-rate than in most Horizon 2020 instruments. This makes Eurostars interesting, especially for SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises) looking for R&D funding. In comparison to standard Horizon 2020 projects the consortia are relatively small, consisting of only 3-4 organisations. But the technological areas are similar: ICT, Energy, Environment, Biotechnology and Industrial. We have updated our Eurostars infographic to give you an overview of the most recent statistics and numbers relevant for Eurostars.
