accelopment successfully supported the preparation of a COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action called NEOH – “Network for Evaluation of One Health”. Together with RVC (The Royal Veterinary College London) and LCIRAH (the Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Health), accelopment coordinated and safeguarded the timely completion of the project proposal.
The NEOH Action aims to enable future quantitative evaluations of “One Health” activities. The “One Health” concept addresses complex challenges affecting human health and well-being, such as malnutrition, emerging and endemic zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance and climate change through the integration of relevant sciences at systems level. The consortium initially consists of 26 proposers based in 10 European and non-European countries. Researchers from additional countries are invited to join the project.
NEOH recently became officially approved by the COST Committee in Brussels. We congratulate RVC and the whole consortium to this success and wish them an exciting and productive project!
