After the success of several workshops on EU proposal writing at renowned Irish and UK universities and based on the positive experience from the company days (firmensprechtage in German) it is long overdue that accelopment officially defines its tried and tested concept of individualised funding advice to scientists at universities across Europe. We are therefore excited to introduce one-two-grant. In this new workshop format we provide consultation and guidance to researchers in academia interested in receiving a grant for their proposed projects.
The European Union funds numerous projects in over 200 programmes. Horizon 2020, the largest EU Research and Innovation programme, alone offers nearly €80 billion of funding during the course of the programme’s lifespan (2014-2020). Within the H2020 sections Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership and Societal Challenges the variety of topics and funding instruments as well as the abundant use of acronyms can seem daunting. At a one-two-grant consulting you will benefit from our know-how and in these one and a half hour face-to-face meetings our experts, Dr Jeanette Müller or Dr Johannes Ripperger, will answer questions specifically for your project ideas, such as:
- What possibilities for funding are there?
- Which programmes fit your project idea?
- Which partners should you choose?
- What are the requirements for a successful grant application?
- What needs to be presented in the proposal documents?
- What are the next steps?
We can organise up to six one-to-one sessions during a day which benefits universities by being extremely efficient and only takes up one and a half hours from each individual researcher’s schedule. To use this time effectively, we ask for information and project ideas from the individual researchers in advance of the one-to-one meetings. This helps us identify potential funding possibilities beforehand and to provide tailor-made advice, including concrete examples on how you can proceed with your idea. Naturally, all information given is treated as strictly confidential.
If you are interested in learning more about our one-to-one meetings to discuss possible funding opportunities targeted to your specific research interests, please visit our one-two-grant website or contact us directly by email email@example.com.
