Funding News

It’s been 10 years since the European Union’s .eu domain launched, in order to celebrate with them   we’ve decided this is the perfect occasion to bring you some ICT news. The ICT Proposers’ Day 2016 will kick off in about a month’s time in Bratislava, Slovakia and runs from the 26th until the 27th September. As the name suggests the event will focus on relevant topics in the field of Information & Communication Technologies as part of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17. The event will be a great networking opportunity for those looking to meet people in their field of study. There will be organised networking sessions, where potential proposers can present their project ideas. Even more reasons to attend are: Information sessions, an ICT information desk, booths where EC officials provide information on the topics of the Work Programme 2016-17 and a Face2Face Brokerage event. The registration site for the event is open and potential proposers are recommended to participate.

About ICT Research & Innovation

Due to the importance of ICT projects EU investments in this area are foreseen to increase by about 25% under Horizon 2020 when compared to FP7. ICT-related topics can be found across all the Horizon 2020 pillars. We’ve recently launched a new page explaining the Horizon 2020 pillars in more detail.
