Based in Zurich, accelopment AG is a competent service provider in the public funding sector. accelopment assists universities, companies and other organisations in the acquisition of and participation in publicly funded innovation projects.

We are specialised in European research, development and innovation support programmes such as Horizon 2020 and EUREKA/Eurostars. Our focus is primarily on projects in the life sciences, information and communication technologies (ICT), environment and energy sectors, and in the areas of materials and manufacturing.

At accelopment, we professionally accompany our clients and partners through the process of applying for funds and assist them in the implementation of their innovative project:

  • Providing individual advice to help select suitable programmes and provide assistance with the application process.
  • Taking on the non-technical aspect of the project application; we revise technical explanations and calculate the budget.

Dr Jeanette Müller

CEO
Dr Jeanette Mueller is founder and CEO of accelopment. She has over 20 years of experience in the acquisition and management of publicly funded projects (IT, life sciences, social sciences and renewable energies) and has specialised in R&D and innovation projects. Thanks to several executive positions in IT, other companies and her own enterprises, Jeanette knows how to organise projects efficiently and to serve different stakeholders. After graduating in Economic Geography at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and the Université de Perpignan (France), Jeanette acquired her PhD at the University of Wales Aberystwyth (UK) in the field of European funding programmes.

Dr Johannes Ripperger

Research & Innovation Manager
At accelopment, Dr Johannes Ripperger manages several EU projects. Since 2008 he has been active as a research manager in the private sector. He has a track record in successfully supporting researchers and enterprises in acquiring and managing national (CTI, SNF) and EU (FP7) research funding with a focus on energy, environment, manufacturing and health topics. Johannes holds a degree in Geophysics from the LMU Munich (Germany) and earned a PhD at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) in the field of numerical modeling of earthquake physics.

Julia Götz

Project Manager Communications
At accelopment, Julia Götz is mainly involved in project communication activities and is involved in all stages of our projects, from applications through to implementation. Because of her experience in digital communication her main focus is on web activities. Prior to her employment at accelopment Julia worked as a project manager of marketing services at a supplier in the construction industry. Working there she gained valuable experience in online and offline marketing. Julia is bilingual (English and German) and grew up in London. Her bachelors degree is in International Management from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

Jacqueline Strehler

Project Communications Associate
At accelopment, Jacqueline Strehler predominantly supports project managers in communication and administrative tasks. Before joining accelopment, she worked for the UniversityHospital Zurich, where she gained experience in project and content management. Jacqueline Strehler is doing her master’s degree in History and Communication Sciences at the University of Zurich (Switzerland).

Marco Cavallaro

Research & Innovation Associate
At accelopment, Marco Cavallaro supports proposal writing, project management and provides advice on EU funding opportunities. He has gained knowledge in EU research and innovation funding during his experience at SwissCore, the Swiss Contact office for EU research, Innovation and Education in Brussels. He also completed an internship at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) in Bern in the fields of European and international education. Marco holds a Master degree in Public Management and Policy from the University of Lausanne.

Isabel Heller Sørensen

Project Manager Communications
At accelopment, Isabel Heller Sørensen is mainly involved in project dissemination. Her focus areas are strategic communication and content creation. Prior to her employment at accelopment, Isabel worked for a number of European renewable energy projects and at the UN. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, Organizational Communication from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich (ZHAW) and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences from Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). Isabel grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Liam Colman

Project Assistant
At accelopment, Liam Colman is mainly involved in proposal writing and internal IT tasks. Prior to working at accelopment, Liam successfully completed an apprenticeship as IT Specialist, where he gained experience in support, server infrastructure and networking. After deciding to go back to school, he is now studying Psychology and History at the University of Zurich (Switzerland).

Nadia Huser

Project Manager Finance & Reporting
At accelopment, Nadia Huser is a Project Manager Finance & Reporting. She mainly works in project proposals and in the financial reporting for research projects. Before joining the accelopment team Nadia lived in Sydney (AUS) where she worked for a leading Australian Law firm in Business Development and Marketing. Previously she worked in different positions for a Swiss Bank. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hochschule für Wirtschaft (HWZ) Zürich.

Géraldine Messmer

Project Assistant
At accelopment, Géraldine Messmer works as a project assistant, offering support in proposal writing, administrative and organisational tasks and complementing our communication specialists in marketing and communication activities. Before she joined our team, she worked for a gallery in Zurich as an art consultant and is now doing her master’s degree in Art History at the University of Zurich (Switzerland).

Agnes Rauch

Graphic Designer
Agnes Rauch has collected 20 years worth of experiences as a graphic artist and senior designer in Hamburg, Berlin and London. She has created print media, corporate designs, websites and various communication measures for a number of (and sometimes international) companies. As a lecturer for media design in Berlin she is keen to pass on her knowledge and helps to teach theory (typography, corporate design, colour management, prepress and press technique) and practical implementation (InDesign, Illustrator, websites with Wordpress).
