Upcoming (2020) Transport Calls in Horizon 2020

7th August 2019 at 2:09 pm

The European Commission’s (EC) overreaching goal in Transport is to create a system that is “resilient, resource-efficient, climate- and environmentally-friendly, safe and seamless for the benefit of all citizens, the economy and society”. The Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020 for Smart, green and integrated transport has taken into account and implemented aspects from earlier Work Programmes which were considered positive such as an emphasis on innovation and demonstration activities as well as a better overall coherence.

For 2020, there is still a total of €403 million funding available for Transport across 27 call topics. Six of these are 2-stage topics with deadlines in early January for the short proposal and September for the full proposal and 21 are 1-stage call topics with a single deadline in April. The budget is broken down into three Calls for proposals, alongside other actions which complement the content of the Calls:

Meet accelopment at the Horizon 2020 Transport Info Day

On 7 October, 2019 from 09:30 to 15:00 CET the Horizon 2020 Transport Info Day will be taking place in Brussels. In attendance will be Dr Jeanette Müller, CEO of accelopment.
